The Last Days of "End Days": See this show!

Recommendation: If you're in NYC and have time to see a great play this week, don't miss the final performances of "End Days" at the Ensemble Studio Theatre.

The production stars Molly Ephraim, my sweet friend and talented Princeton classmate, who has made quite a name for herself.

When she was 15, Molly debuted on Broadway as Little Red Riding Hood in the revival of "Into the Woods." Here she is with her co-star, Vanessa Williams:

When she was 17, she was Bielke in the Broadway revival of "Fiddler on the Roof." Alfred Molina played Teyve, and Lea Michele (now famous for "Spring Awakening") was Shprintze. Not a bad family tree!

At Princeton, I met Molly through the Triangle Club, a student-written musical comedy group in which we were both actors (and which boasts alumni such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jimmy Stewart and Brooke Shields).

Since our first meeting, I have been able to witness Molly in some amazing performances. In 2005, I saw Molly on the Broadway stage when she returned to "Fiddler" to fill in for a few weeks. In 2007, she was spectacular in a Princeton production of "The Last Five Years" (directed by my dear AWC, and costume designed by yours truly). And in 2008 I saw her as Donny Osmond's daughter and Raven-Symone's friend in the Disney feature film "College Road Trip." Molly is a RIOT.

And now she's back to her roots on stage! Go see her! She's OUTSTANDING. Her cast is spectacular. The play itself is VERY clever. I haven't seen such good theatre in a LONG TIME, despite frequently attending Broadway shows. Even in NYC it's hard to find something worthwhile, but this is it! This Off-B'way gem won't last much longer (only through Sunday) so buy your tickets now.

Break a Leg, MZE!
Cxx.
